The CNC Machinist 1 — Milling — First Shift role is onsite in Cheshire, CT, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The position supports production of flight-critical aerospace and defense components and assemblies. The machinist plans and performs CNC milling operations on metal parts under supervisor direction. The work includes setting up and operating machines, following blueprints and engineering instructions, checking parts with precision instruments, and documenting in-process inspection data.

What you'll do

• Machine parts to specifications
• work from blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications
• set up, adjust, and operate machine tools
• secure fixtures, tools, and materials
• inspect completed units with precision instruments
• clean and lubricate equipment
• maintain in-process inspection records.
