The Paramedic, Interfacility Transport (IFT) – Walton role is onsite in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Compensation is not specified. The position supports AmeriPro EMS’s patient-care and transport operations in coordination with EMT partners, dispatch, hospitals, and public safety agencies. The paramedic assesses patients, provides protocol-based emergency care, and monitors and manages patients during transport. The role also supports safe vehicle operation, accurate care documentation, ambulance readiness, effective care transitions, and ongoing clinical quality and training.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and deliver ACLS interventions within protocols and scope of practice
• monitor and manage patients during transport
• complete accurate and timely electronic patient care reports
• operate emergency vehicles safely
• inspect, clean, and restock ambulances and equipment
• communicate with dispatch, partner agencies, and receiving facilities
• support EMT partners
• participate in training, drills, and quality improvement.
