Job overview

The Paraprofessional, Respite Services role is onsite in Chapel Hill, NC, with compensation of $11–$15 per hour. Alpha Management Services provides person-centered support to individuals and families in the community. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2–4 p.m. The role provides respite support to a 20-year-old male with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping build independence, daily living skills, and quality of life. It supports safety and continuity by following the Individual Support Plan and communicating with family members and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Provide supervision and care in the home or community
• assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, and meals as needed
• maintain a safe, structured, supportive environment
• engage the individual in recreational and social activities
• follow the Individual Support Plan and caregiver instructions
• monitor and report health, safety, or behavioral concerns
• maintain professional boundaries
• complete service notes
• communicate with families and supervisors.

Why this role
