What you'll do

• Prepare bids and meet submission deadlines
• review plans and specifications
• estimate heavy civil, roadway, and site development work
• perform earthwork, drainage, utility, and roadway takeoffs
• estimate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs
• evaluate construction methods and site conditions
• identify scope gaps and cost savings
• solicit and compare proposals
• prepare bid documentation
• attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
• coordinate with operations on cost validation and handoff.
