Support Commercial Driver’s License Driver

Job overview

The Support Commercial Driver’s License Driver role is onsite in Normal, IL. Pay is $24–$28 per hour based on experience. The driver fills open or unassigned routes to support Spee-Dee Delivery Service’s daily delivery operations, with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7:00 AM and continuing until route completion. The role helps maintain delivery coverage by driving routes, assisting with freight sorting and loading, and completing pickups and deliveries safely and on time. It also supports accurate shipment documentation and communication with management.

What you'll do

• Cover open or unassigned routes
• assist with sorting freight and loading trucks
• deliver and pick up freight
• inspect and report vehicle problems
• collect payments as needed
• verify pickup contents on shipping papers
• notify management of discrepancies
• attend weekly meetings.
