What you'll do

• Collect ingredient samples and perform production quality checks
• inspect incoming and outgoing trucks
• check raw materials, packaging, finished products, and labels
• generate certificates of analysis
• document and interpret lab results against specifications
• report food-safety concerns
• maintain lab equipment calibration and supply inventory
• coordinate outside laboratory samples and customer testing
• report process errors and product failures and follow up with operations
• maintain reports and non-compliance investigations
• conduct employee training
• implement and maintain BRC, HACCP, SOP, SSOP, and allergen programs.
