Dietary Aide

Job overview

The Dietary Aide role is an onsite, part-time, per-diem position in Mashpee, Massachusetts, for up to 21 hours per week. Pay is $20 per hour, with a schedule to be determined between 8 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday. Family Service Association provides social services to individuals and families in southeastern Massachusetts, including an adult day health program. The aide supports daily food service and regulatory compliance by monitoring and documenting food temperatures, preparing sandwiches, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment, and tracking supplies. These tasks help maintain safe food service for program participants.

What you'll do

• Monitor and document food temperatures before serving
• check and document refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily
• calibrate the food thermometer weekly
• wash tables
• prepare sandwiches
• clean dishes, pans, utensils, kitchen surfaces, and floors
• report damaged kitchen items or appliances
• maintain a list of food, paper, and emergency supply needs.
