Bilingual Tower Technician, Level II/III

Job overview

The Bilingual Tower Technician, Level II/III role is travel-based, with assignments in Wisconsin and Illinois and 3–6 weeks away from home. Compensation is $18–$30 per hour. Tower Communications Expert builds, upgrades, and maintains wireless networks and telecom infrastructure. The technician installs, upgrades, tests, and maintains wireless systems at towers, rooftops, and poles, following safety and quality requirements and documenting work to support project completion and network performance.

What you'll do

• Install, upgrade, and maintain wireless systems on towers, rooftops, and poles
• interpret scopes of work, structural analyses, and construction drawings
• participate in safety meetings and job planning
• identify and mitigate hazards
• use PIM, Anritsu, and OTDR tools for troubleshooting and integration
• complete daily reports, timecards, expenses, and close-out documentation
• maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles
• support incident reporting and corrective actions.
