The Senior Fleet Mechanic is an onsite role based in Monmouth Junction, NJ, with a pay range of $39.00 to $42.00 per hour. This position supports the US Foods, Inc. fleet maintenance department by ensuring the safety and reliability of the company's heavy-duty commercial fleet. This role exists to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and reefers. The senior mechanic contributes to the team by mentoring others, managing road service calls, and ensuring all maintenance documentation is accurate and compliant with safety regulations.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance within company standards. Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list and parts accountability. Handle road service calls
• perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed. Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the software system. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
