What you'll do

• Maintain certifications within scope
• interview and assess patients and families and use findings to plan, implement, evaluate, and document care
• inform customers about wait times
• report safety hazards and incidents
• participate in patient identification procedures
• admit and assess same-day surgery patients using the EMR
• verify required records and test results are available
• communicate deviations from normal to the surgeon, operating room staff, physicians, and anesthesia
• administer medications and IV fluids appropriately.

Why this role

Casual position with variable, non-guaranteed hours based on operational needs. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an unencumbered Minnesota RN license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and PALS are required within three months of hire.
