Social Worker (LMSW) — Family Services

Job overview

The Social Worker (LMSW) role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI, with 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, and occasional nights, weekends, and on-call coverage. Compensation is not specified. The role supports families of seriously ill children staying at Ronald McDonald House’s Main House and Mott House. The social worker provides psychosocial support, connects families with resources, and coordinates with hospital and House staff. What you'll do

• Provide supportive counseling and psychosocial support
• connect families to resources
• coordinate with hospital social workers on referrals, room placement, and medical updates
• facilitate caregiver support groups and welcome meetings as needed
• provide crisis intervention as needed
• manage the Family Support Council Committee and report its activities
• encourage participation in House programs
• document services accurately. Maintain Michigan LMSW licensure and support occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage.
