Technical Sales Representative, Route Sales

Job overview

The Technical Sales Representative, Route Sales role is field-based in Saint Paul, MN, with a generally Monday–Friday work week, 10+ hour days, and occasional overnight routes. Compensation is $75,000–$85,000 per year. The role is part of Hawkins’ small, flexible branch team supporting water treatment customers. Combining sales, customer service, delivery, and equipment service, the representative helps customers solve problems and supports branch safety, customer satisfaction, and sales growth. Paid on-the-job training covers many aspects of the work, including driving, chemical handling, and sales.

What you'll do

• Call on existing and new customers to grow business through sales, problem-solving, and technical support for chemical products and equipment
• build customer relationships
• safely deliver products using a company truck
• provide hands-on equipment service, which may include inspection, repair, and adjustment of chemical feed equipment
• contribute to branch operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
