What you'll do

• Inspect commercial properties and neighborhood boundaries
• work parcel to parcel on required inspections and follow up on permits, occupancy certificates, rechecks, splits, and combinations
• interview property owners for data collection when applicable
• measure and draw improvements and record construction characteristics
• use CAMA and GIS valuation tools
• read blueprints and floor plans
• investigate valuation inquiries and complaints and explain assessment methods
• appear before the Value Adjustment Board as needed
• conduct vehicle safety checks
• assist with emergency damage assessments and emergency operations when called upon.
