Cloud Engineer - SOF AT&L

The Cloud Engineer provides expert-level engineering leadership in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) enterprise modernization efforts. This onsite role at MacDill AFB, FL, focuses on complex multi-discipline engineering activities supporting Cloud, DevSecOps, and enterprise software integration. This position serves as a senior technical advisor on Kubernetes orchestration, deployment patterns, and Cloud-native architectures. The role requires extensive knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) within Cloud architectures to ensure enterprise solutions adhere to security and accreditation requirements for SOF mission contexts.

What you'll do

• Analyze Cloud architectures and assess operations in multi-Cloud environments.
• Provide expert guidance on Cloud platform selection.
• Engage in Agile SAFe-aligned software development activities.
• Apply RMF to Cloud architectures and containerized workloads.
• Coordinate with organizational managers and mission stakeholders.
