The Structural Engineer (PE) — Hybrid role is based in Arvada, CO, with a hybrid work arrangement. Compensation is $120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience and licensure. The engineer will build in-house structural review capability for StruXure’s motorized pergola and louvered roof projects. The role reviews, analyzes, and certifies structural designs so projects are safe, code-compliant, and ready for permit. It also develops repeatable engineering standards and works with sales, design, fabrication, and installation teams to resolve structural questions and support field decisions.

What you'll do

• Review and approve structural designs for custom motorized pergola and louvered roof projects
• produce stamped calculations and permit drawings
• analyze wind, snow, and seismic loads
• design and verify framing, connections, anchorage, and foundations
• assess attachments to existing structures
• respond to building department comments
• coordinate with permitting officials and internal teams
• develop standard details, span tables, and calculation packages
• maintain PE licensure and track code changes.
