Chief Financial Officer — Mountain Sky Conference is a hybrid role based in the Denver metropolitan area, with an expected office presence approximately two days per week. Compensation is $120,000–$150,000 annually. The Mountain Sky Conference supports more than 310 churches and ministries across a five-state region through leadership, resources, and shared infrastructure. The CFO oversees Conference finances, leads a four-person finance team, and guides budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, investments, and internal controls. The role stewards Mission Shares and administers clergy pension and benefits programs while promoting transparent financial stewardship across the Conference.

What you'll do

• Oversee Conference finances in accordance with the United Methodist Church’s Book of Discipline
• guide forecasting, budgeting, reporting, audits, investments, and internal controls
• lead the finance team
• steward Mission Shares
• administer clergy pension and benefits programs
• advise leadership and present the Conference budget
• address payroll questions and support financial stewardship.
