What you'll do

• Lead estimating efforts and supervise estimators as needed
• review drawings and specifications
• prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead
• identify plan risks and errors and seek clarification
• attend pre-bid meetings and site visits
• obtain and review subcontractor and supplier quotes
• assess past costs and production needs
• use estimating software, Excel, Bluebeam, On-screen, and Agtek.
