The Counselor – Master's Level role is onsite in Paris, TN; compensation is not specified. Behavioral Health Group provides opioid addiction treatment through opioid treatment programs, intensive outpatient programs, and office-based opioid treatment. The counselor supports patients in identifying strengths and pursuing social, educational, and vocational goals while helping them prepare for and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. Counseling, treatment planning, referrals, and care coordination contribute to patients’ recovery and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling as required by state regulations and treatment plans
• conduct orientations and collect assessment information
• develop and update individualized treatment plans
• maintain timely patient records
• make referrals and follow up through case management
• participate in treatment-team meetings
• provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed
• coordinate care with community providers
• provide intake, readmission, and follow-up counseling
• perform OBOT services as required
• attend training and contribute to assigned outreach activities.
