Logging and Monitoring Engineer

Job overview

The Logging and Monitoring Engineer role is onsite in Round Rock, TX, with pay of $50–$60 per hour. The engineer supports day-to-day operations and continued evolution of logging and telemetry platforms, working with Cribl, Elastic, and Corelight.

What you'll do

• Configure, operate, and monitor Cribl log and telemetry pipelines, including routing, filtering, and transformations
• onboard log sources and support data quality, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance in Elastic
• assist with deployment and monitoring of Corelight sensors
• troubleshoot data flow, parsing, transport, and ingestion issues
• perform upgrades, configuration changes, documentation updates, and capacity monitoring
• partner with security operations, infrastructure, and application teams on log onboarding and data gaps
• follow change management and escalation procedures
• maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
