What you'll do

• Maintain a steady workflow to keep up with the needs of the kitchen and dining area, preventing any backups of dirty dishes.
• Ensure all cleaned items are sanitized and restocked promptly to their proper places.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of dishwashing equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and promptly notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Assist in keeping the back of the house and restrooms clean and orderly.
• Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring garbage areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow all company policies as described in the Employee Handbook, fostering a cooperative and respectful workplace.
• Follows sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations.
• Responsible for the fast and immediate cleaning of unforeseen incidents.
• Helps keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Participates fully in environmental sustainability initiatives, including recycling, waste reduction, and energy and water conservation.
• Perform additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the restaurant.
