The engineer maintains and improves production machine-learning pipelines and supporting platforms, working with platform, data science, and engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, deployment, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Optimize feature engineering pipelines using PySpark, Pandas, and PyArrow on Hadoop infrastructure
• refactor and modularize machine-learning code
• collaborate on compute capacity, resource allocation, and upgrades
• integrate model-serving frameworks for testing, deployment, and rollback
• monitor and troubleshoot production pipelines
• document platform improvements and best practices
• build near-real-time pipelines using Kafka and Spark Streaming
• work with AWS and SageMaker MLOps tools.
