Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is an onsite, full-time position in Clinton, NC, with compensation of $10–$16 per hour. The Magnolia supports seniors through safe, comfortable communities and personalized care. The PCA assists residents with daily living, monitors and reports changes in condition, and encourages social engagement while helping maintain a safe and nurturing environment. The work supports residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding, hydration, and personal hygiene
• observe and report health or behavior changes to the nursing team
• provide medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions
• encourage participation in activities
• maintain clean and safe living areas
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• respond to emergencies according to established procedures.

Why this role
