The Senior System Administrator role is onsite in Jacksonville, North Carolina, at MCAS New River. Compensation is not specified. Paradigm Max Q supports defense readiness and government customers; this position supports the Aviation Logistics Information Management System and networks serving 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing aviation readiness and deployable capability. The role is contingent upon award. The administrator sustains ALIMS and supporting server and network systems through technical support, system management, security engineering, troubleshooting, and training. The work helps keep systems available, secure, and compliant in garrison and deployed environments, while preparing personnel to operate and service program-of-record equipment.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support and training for ALIMS
• plan, implement, and manage server and network infrastructure
• administer virtualization and cloud environments
• manage firewalls, backups, and system protection
• develop automation scripts
• install and maintain network infrastructure, hardware, software, and application support environments
• deploy LANs and secure information systems
• troubleshoot server operating systems and hypervisors
• coordinate support requests with NIWC and NAVAIR
• support network architecture, vulnerability remediation, POA&M submissions, and deployed operations
• mentor junior technical staff and train ALIMS personnel.
