The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Colonial Heights, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible scheduling. The stated pay range is $32–$38 per hour. The role supports clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility and contributes to HCSG’s work to positively impact the communities it serves. The role exists to assess residents’ and patients’ nutrition needs and provide individualized nutrition care. Through care planning, education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, the dietitian supports residents’ and patients’ health and well-being while helping ensure regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Assess residents’ and patients’ clinical nutrition needs and document plans in the electronic medical record
• develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans using clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities
• provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, patients, families, and staff
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards
• provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and as desired.
