CNC Programmer

Job overview

The CNC Programmer works onsite in Oregon, IL. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour. The role supports Coilcraft’s manufacturing operations by programming and preparing CNC equipment to produce precision parts. The programmer creates and optimizes machine programs from engineering drawings and specifications, then supports setup, inspection, and shop-floor capability. The work helps produce components to close tolerances while maintaining quality and safe machine practices.

What you'll do

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software
• program 3-axis and 5-axis mills
• interpret prints, drawings, sketches, and specifications
• design and edit models in SolidWorks
• program and operate specialty machines such as CNC grinders, high-speed mills, or wire EDMs
• train machinists
• inspect components with precision measuring instruments
• set up machines for others
• maintain a clean work area and follow safety practices.

Why this role
