The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Warrenton, VA. Pay is $16.35–$17.65 per hour. Children of America operates accredited preschool programs serving children from six weeks to 12 years old. The teacher leads classroom instruction and carries out lesson plans while helping create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Communication with children, families, and staff supports continuity of care and children’s learning and development.

What you'll do

• Carry out daily lesson plans
• help create a safe, structured, positive learning environment
• communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members
• document and deliver child progress reports using technology
• respond empathetically to children’s emotions and parents’ needs
• set age-appropriate expectations
• lead instruction using the Mind and Body Matters curriculum.
