HVAC Installation Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Installation Technician role is onsite, with openings in Rockford, Freeport, Fairbury, and Champaign, IL, and Elkhorn, WI. Base pay is $20–$45 per hour, based on experience; performance incentives may add to hourly earnings. Edelman installs residential HVAC equipment across Illinois and Wisconsin. The technician installs and commissions residential heating and cooling equipment, verifies system operation, and documents work. The role supports quality installations completed to project scope, manufacturer requirements, and code while helping reduce callbacks.

What you'll do

• Install and commission residential HVAC equipment
• complete installations according to project scope, manufacturer requirements, and code
• test systems before job completion
• identify and resolve installation issues
• maintain quality workmanship and accurate documentation
• work with furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and ductwork.
