The Cloud Architect — AWS role is onsite in Plano, TX, for a 12-month assignment. Compensation is $55–$60 per hour. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure and application architecture. The architect designs and provisions cloud infrastructure, establishes architecture and technology direction, and works with engineering teams on secure, automated infrastructure lifecycle practices. This work supports application deployment, capacity planning, monitoring, compliance, and reliable operations.

What you'll do

• Design cloud-native application architectures using AWS Well-Architected principles
• design and provision AWS infrastructure with Terraform or OpenTofu
• plan capacity, monitoring, and upgrades
• develop infrastructure-as-code automation and CI/CD
• address AWS security and application compliance
• work with engineering teams on lifecycle practices, self-service, orchestration, provisioning, and configuration management
• define technology roadmaps.
