Quality and Safety Director, Path/Lab ICCE

The Quality and Safety Director, Path/Lab ICCE role is onsite in Charleston, SC; compensation is not specified. The director leads system-wide quality, safety, regulatory, and accreditation work for Path/Lab ICCE. The role uses performance and patient-safety data to guide improvement, support oversight groups, and coordinate event reviews and follow-up actions with operational and risk-management leaders.

What you'll do

• Collect, analyze, assess, and disseminate quality data
• benchmark performance
• lead multidisciplinary improvement teams
• present performance data to oversight and governance groups
• lead QAPI and regulatory/accreditation activities
• monitor and collate patient safety events
• collaborate with operational leaders and Risk Management on event reviews and follow-up actions
• manage associated managers, coordinators, data analysts, and registry staff.
