Film Production and Batch Operator

The Film Production and Batch Operator role is onsite in Statesville, NC, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour day shifts from 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour. The position supports film manufacturing at a production facility. The operator prepares and mixes raw materials, runs film-production equipment, and monitors process conditions and finished product quality. Accurate batch records, safe work practices, and timely communication of equipment or quality issues help maintain production requirements.

What you'll do

• Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare raw materials according to formulas and work orders
• load materials into production equipment
• set up, operate, and monitor film machinery
• adjust settings and monitor operating conditions
• inspect finished film for quality
• complete batch records and production paperwork
• perform changeovers and assist with equipment setup
• identify equipment or quality issues and make basic adjustments
• communicate mechanical problems
• maintain a clean work area and follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
