What you'll do

• Direct shift personnel and specimen receiving activities
• coordinate response to laboratory information system downtime
• prepare, label, accession, and route specimens
• check specimen identification and suitability
• maintain records and supplies
• train staff
• communicate laboratory service and specimen status information
• provide backup support for stat service and specimen transport.
