Mechanical Project Manager

The Mechanical Project Manager works onsite in Houston, TX. The annual salary range is $100,000–$130,000. The role leads commercial mechanical construction projects for a mechanical subcontractor.

What you'll do

• Manage HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and sheet-metal projects from award through closeout
• lead buyout, procurement, and vendor and subcontractor management
• maintain schedules of values, pay applications, and budgets
• process submittals, RFIs, and change orders and track cost and margin
• coordinate with general contractors, engineers, owners, and field superintendents
• review drawings and MEP coordination
• run project meetings and report on schedule, cost, and risk
• promote jobsite safety.

Why this role

Requires 3+ years managing commercial mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing construction projects. Experience with a mechanical subcontractor or MEP contractor is strongly preferred; Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project knowledge is expected, with OSHA 30 preferred and PMP a plus.
