Training and Capacity Building Coordinator

Job overview

The Training and Capacity Building Coordinator role is based onsite in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work schedule available after 90 days. Compensation is $75,000 per year. Progressive Life Center provides community-based services to children, youth, and families and serves as the administrative partner for the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services Community Programming Initiative. The coordinator develops and delivers training and technical assistance for subgrantees, assesses their learning needs, and evaluates training effectiveness. This work supports consistent program delivery and helps community providers develop programming aligned with the initiative's violence-interruption focus.

What you'll do

• Coordinate, design, develop, and conduct training programs
• assess subgrantee needs and knowledge gaps
• facilitate technical assistance
• maintain curriculum and training records
• evaluate instructional effectiveness
• collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts
• update training as needed
• maintain accurate data in FAMCare
• travel within the Washington metropolitan region.
