The Lead Glazier – Commercial Glass Installation role is onsite in Columbia, SC. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. Palmetto State Glass installs commercial storefronts, curtain walls, entrance systems, and replacement glass. The role leads the installation crew and guides daily work so commercial glass projects meet specifications, deadlines, quality standards, and safety expectations. It also supports project readiness through scheduling, materials organization, training, and communication across teams.

What you'll do

• Champion safe work habits and OSHA standards
• install storefront systems, doors, and hardware
• conduct quality assurance audits
• coordinate the installation crew
• interpret plans and develop schedules aligned with budgets
• assign tasks and train crew members
• organize materials and equipment
• maintain vehicles and tools
• submit daily reports and supply requests.
