Job overview

The Refrigeration Technician role is onsite in Essex Junction, VT, based at Alliance Group’s operations center, with negotiable compensation. This is a field-based position maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and commercial HVAC and mechanical systems. The technician resolves service issues, performs preventive maintenance, documents equipment and work, and communicates findings and timelines to customers. The role supports reliable operation of refrigeration and related HVAC systems while identifying potential service needs for the company.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot HVAC/R service issues
• obtain replacement parts and calibrate systems to manufacturer recommendations
• perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance
• maintain vehicle stock, tools, parts, and safety equipment
• explain issues, timelines, and resolutions to customers
• report potential additional service opportunities
• document installed equipment and relevant measurements
• maintain a clean work environment and company vehicle.

Why this role
