Bus Driver — Adult Day Services

The Bus Driver — Adult Day Services role is onsite in Crown Point, IN. Pay is $17.00 per hour. Lutheran Life Communities’ adult day program gives older adults a place for activities, meals, and social connection while providing families a break. The driver transports program members between home and the program, assists them entering and leaving the vehicle, and supports the adult day team between routes. The role helps members travel safely and contributes to their daily program experience.

What you'll do

• Pick up members at home and drive them home
• help members into and out of the vehicle and walk them to the door
• plan routes and adjust for schedule changes
• relay messages between families and the adult day team
• assist with activities and lunch between routes
• perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain mileage logs and trip paperwork.
