What you'll do

• Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis according to orders and protocols
• assess patients before, during, and after treatment
• administer medications and manage vascular access
• troubleshoot dialysis equipment
• educate patients and families on renal disease management and treatment compliance
• document treatment and assessments
• collaborate with nephrologists and other care professionals
• participate in quality improvement and infection control
• ensure equipment is cleaned, tested, and maintained.
