The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Worcester, MA, with a 40-hour schedule: Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. Pay is $20.81 per hour without MAP certification or $21.85 per hour with MAP certification. The Arc of Opportunity supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. The professional helps individuals pursue personal goals, independence, and quality of life through personal care, household support, community access, and implementation of Individual Support Plans. The role works with residential managers and others to provide consistent, respectful support and meet regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Implement Individual Support Plans
• assist with daily living and personal care
• promote dignity, independence, and community inclusion
• help individuals access community resources
• perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, and groundskeeping
• communicate with individuals, families, coworkers, and partners
• transport individuals in agency vehicles as required
• complete required training.
