CNC Machinist, Second Shift

The CNC Machinist, Second Shift role is onsite in Hurst, TX, with a 4:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. schedule. Compensation is $20–$22.50 per hour. VIP Staffing is recruiting for a manufacturing team. The machinist operates and adjusts CNC machinery, checks finished parts against specifications, and records production and quality information. The work supports production by maintaining part quality, identifying issues, and following safe shop practices.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC machines
• inspect equipment before use
• make offsets and adjustments to meet part specifications
• read blueprints
• use precision measuring tools
• inspect and measure parts
• record production and quality data
• report equipment or production issues
• perform basic troubleshooting and suggest process improvements when appropriate
• clean equipment and maintain an organized work area
• follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
