The Project Manager – Linework Trainer I role is onsite in Binghamton, NY, with a stated pay range of $55–$60 per hour. K&A Power Group provides engineering, consulting, project management, construction management, and EPC services for power utility and industrial clients. The role delivers classroom and hands-on field instruction in electrical lineworker fundamentals and safety, assesses and mentors trainees, and documents training outcomes. It supports NYSEG’s workforce pipeline by preparing participants for internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level lineworker roles in collaboration with SUNY Broome faculty, IBEW representatives, and NYSEG training leadership.

What you'll do

• Deliver classroom and field instruction in lineworker fundamentals, equipment use, and safe work practices
• conduct hands-on training at NYSEG facilities
• teach NYSEG standards and procedures
• lead and assess rescue and emergency-response exercises
• monitor trainee safety and performance
• mentor apprentices
• evaluate competencies and document outcomes
• maintain training records
• participate in curriculum review and program evaluation.
