Line Cook / Prep Cook

Job overview

The Line Cook / Prep Cook role is onsite in Henderson, NV, with pay of $18–$19 per hour. The cook reports to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager and prepares meals to company recipes and standards. The role supports consistent kitchen operations by preparing and cooking dishes, maintaining food quality and safety, keeping stations supplied and clean, and coordinating with kitchen staff. It also assists with menu development, inventory, and guidance for junior kitchen staff as needed.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
• check cooking temperature and consistency and adjust seasonings
• stock stations
• maintain clean, working equipment and follow health and safety guidelines
• assist with menu items and specials
• monitor food quality and presentation
• maintain an organized work area
• assist with inventory, ordering, and proper food storage
• collaborate with kitchen staff and guide junior staff as needed.
