Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative is an onsite role based in Chicago, IL. The position offers an estimated annual compensation of $70,000 to $120,000, including base salary and uncapped commission, and supports the Orkin commercial sales team in delivering pest control solutions. This role exists to drive business development by prospecting new business and assigned leads. The representative conducts property inspections, provides strategic pest prevention recommendations, and builds long-term relationships with commercial customers to ensure regulatory compliance and peace of mind.

What you'll do

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to recommend the best innovative overall solution for each customer's needs.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer’s property.
• Make recommendations to customers based on your inspection and issues identified by addressing any questions, explaining the solution, and setting expectations.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
