What you'll do

• Attend pre-bid meetings and job sites
• coordinate project scope with project managers and architects
• analyze bid documents and site conditions
• estimate equipment, manpower, materials, and project costs
• prepare take-offs, conceptual budgets, and detailed estimates
• qualify and compare subcontractor proposals
• develop initial schedules and track long-lead items
• present estimates in bid reviews
• communicate scope to field operations
• monitor actual versus estimated costs.

Why this role
