Shipping and Receiving Clerk

What you'll do

• Receive goods and verify them against shipment records
• inspect condition
• gather, verify, and pack items for shipment
• distribute material using tickets
• prepare and ship orders
• pick and pack rush orders
• perform inventory transactions
• build pallets, crates, or skids
• coordinate freight, FedEx, and UPS shipments
• communicate with customer service and purchasing
• operate material handling equipment
• support production and on-time delivery
• conduct equipment safety checks.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of manufacturing-environment experience, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, familiarity with material handling equipment, and a high school diploma or equivalent education or experience. Must be able to obtain power industrial truck certification.
