Material Handler

The Material Handler role is onsite in Bolingbrook, IL, with a pay range of $22–$23 per hour. The position supports Prater Industries’ production operations by keeping materials accurately processed and available to manufacturing teams. The handler receives, moves, and issues materials, maintains inventory records, and supports warehouse organization. This work helps production, finishing, and shipping teams access the materials they need while maintaining safety and supporting process improvement.

What you'll do

• Process inventory and receive materials
• supply production with materials
• load and unload materials using pallets, trays, or shelves
• maintain an organized warehouse
• process inventory transactions and issue materials to manufacturing orders
• conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks
• support finishing and shipping
• communicate with team members and supervisors
• follow safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
