Outside Plant Inspector — Fiber Construction

The Outside Plant Inspector role is primarily outdoors at construction sites and public rights-of-way, based in Socorro, NM, with travel supporting fiber infrastructure projects across the U.S.; pay is $24–$29 per hour. What you'll do

• Monitor fiber construction and placement against engineering plans and customer specifications
• verify cable and equipment placement, installation details, GPS coordinates, and as-built data
• support schedule coordination, workflow monitoring, and cost tracking
• resolve design and staking-sheet issues
• prepare daily reports and project documentation
• communicate with landowners, permitting agencies, and internal departments. The role requires aerial construction or inspection experience and may involve extended or irregular hours for project schedules, storm restoration, or emergency response.
