The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) — Labor and Delivery, Night Shift role is onsite in Salem, VA. The listed pay is $2,362 per hour. The nurse supports a 17-bed inpatient and two-bed triage labor-and-delivery unit.

What you'll do

• Provide labor-and-delivery nursing care, including fetal-strip interpretation, antepartum triage, C-section circulating and spinal-anesthesia PACU recovery, and assistance with epidural placement. Perform or support IV insertion, lab draws, blood administration, nitrous administration, vaginal examinations, and delivery-table setup. The unit performs ECVs, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and epidural placements
• assist with vacuum or forceps deliveries as needed. Schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• floating policy is MB/Postpartum. Required certifications include RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.
