Medicaid Coordinator

What you'll do

• Prepare reports and maintain resident statistics
• prepare monthly resident billings and Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance billings
• follow up on delinquent payments
• manage accounts receivable collections and past-due accounts
• gather documentation for third-party billing
• maintain financial records
• reconcile facility cash and accounts and resident trust funds
• explain rates, billing cycles, and payment terms during admissions
• supervise clerical staff as assigned.
