What you'll do

• Develop and optimize 5-axis CNC programs using CAM software
• create and edit G-code and M-code
• interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications
• validate programs through simulation
• collaborate with manufacturing engineers, machinists, and quality personnel
• select cutting tools and workholding devices
• identify process improvements, cycle-time reductions, and cost savings
• follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• document programming procedures and setup sheets
• mentor junior programmers and machinists
• travel approximately 10%.
