The Transport Driver (Class A Commercial Driver’s License) role is onsite in Newark, NJ. Compensation is not specified. The driver reports to the regional transportation manager or field supervisor and supports fuel transportation operations. The role exists to move products safely between terminals, facilities, and customer locations while meeting applicable transportation and company requirements. The driver inspects equipment, maintains delivery records, handles fuel loads, communicates safety or customer concerns, and keeps the truck and trailer clean.

What you'll do

• Inspect the truck and trailer before and after trips and report mechanical issues
• maintain electronic and paper driver logs, delivery tickets, and bills of lading
• load, transport, and unload fuel in compliance with hazardous-material procedures
• enter load information into the reporting system
• communicate customer issues and safety concerns
• clean the truck and trailer
• respond appropriately to fuel spills.
